Welcome to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, where the magnificent landscape has fired the imagination of writers and artists for centuries. It embraces the deep waters of Loch Lomond, the wild glens of the Trossachs, Breadalbane’s high mountains and the sheltered sea lochs of the Argyll Forest.

This website gives you more information about the area and about the work of the Park Authority.

Carrochan

Come and celebrate the opening of Carrochan, the new headquarters of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority.

There will be lots of things to see and do; information on the materials used in its construction; displays and information on some of the work carried out by the National Park Authority; displays by local communities; fun, interactive activities with the National Park Rangers and entertainment from young people living in the Park.

Road Report

Please note the A811 from Ballat to Drymen (at the Ballat crossroads) will be closed for 2 weeks commencing Monday 19 May.

The alternative route would be:- coming from Aberfoyle or Stirling - carry on along the A81, turn right on the B834, right again onto the A809 which takes you back to the A811. Turn left for Balloch.
