Financial Management for Community Organisations (10am - 12noon)
One of a number of free training sessions running
throughout January and February open to all Development Trusts, Community
Councils and other community organisations in and around the National Park.
It’s not only
Treasurers who have financial responsibility – this session is for all
directors, staff and volunteers and will help participants think through the
specific roles and responsibilities involved in dealing with the finances of a
community organisation.
All Sorts of Meetings (1pm - 3pm)
From AGM’s to public consultation,
committee meetings and special General Meetings – this session provides the low
down on how to comply with charity and company law, and explores participants’
understanding of the ingredients necessary for effective meetings.
