Call for funding applications for community projects

Good news for community groups in Argyll and the Islands!  Following a Local Action Group meeting on 31 January 2013 the Argyll and the Islands LEADER Programme is pleased to announce that, following the return of unused grants in the region of £150,000, they are in the position to announce a final call for funding applications from community organisations.

Applications are invited for projects that are able to start at the beginning of June 2013 and finish by November 2013. In order to be considered, projects must meet LEADER eligibility criteria and match-funding and all necessary permissions must be in place by 14 May 2013. Up to 50% of the project cost could be available from LEADER and applicants must be able to provide 5% from their own resources.
