Dochart Road
The owners of 1 Dochart Road
applied for a grant from the Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme to repair the chimney stack, problems with
which were causing water damage to their property.
The restoration work included removing the existing roughcast plaster on the chimney head, rendering the chimney and applying new roughcast to match the existing plaster. In addition, the mortar around the chimney pot was repaired and a coat of waterproof paint was applied to finish. Works were completed in October 2008.
