‘Keeping Loch Lomond’ on BBC Learning Zone

A programme about Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park features on the BBC learning website. Presenter Jonathan Sutherland covers a range of issues and meets some of the people working and living in the area. Along the way, Jonathan meets National Park Rangers and Police Officers who monitor the East Loch Lomond camping byelaws and talks to locals about the difference the new laws have made. The history of hydro power in the National Park is also explored and the delicate balancing act between development and conservation is featured when looking at the recent Cononish gold mine application.
