National Park Authority Board

Convener Dr Mike Cantlay and Deputy Convener Colin O'Brien were elected for three years by the National Park Authority on 8 June 2009.

The Board of the National Park Authority has 23 members and is made up as follows:

Five members elected by a postal ballot of the local electorate on 1 July 2010 for a period of four years:

Eight members appointed by Scottish Ministers (following assessment of applicants in accordance with the rules issued by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments in Scotland):
