Public Perception Survey of Wildness in Scotland (2012)

Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority, working in partnership with the Cairngorms National Park Authority and Scottish Natural Heritage commissioned a survey to further develop their understanding of the public perception of wildness in Scotland and to support future wildness mapping by providing a set of weights which can be used to combine the various attributes associated with the Scottish public’s perception of ‘wildness’.

Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Biodiversity Habitat Audit and Methodology Report (2012)

Report commissioned jointly by Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority and Scottish Natural Heritage. The report describes an audit to establish a baseline and repeatable methodology for long term monitoring of UK Biodiversity Action Plan habitats that occur in the National Park. In addition a species checklist was also collated.

Long-term Changes in the Pattern of Recreational Boating on Loch Lomond 1989 to 2011 (2012)

Since 1989 an annual survey of recreational craft use on Loch Lomond has been conducted during peak activity periods in the summer months (May to September). This report presents a summary and analysis of this long-term (23 years) dataset including additional data collected during the summer of 2011.
