Visitor Experience
We will promote the Park as:
One of Scotland's most important and exciting places to visit!
Recreation is central to visitor experience. We want to help people enjoy and respect the Park – safely and responsibly. Our policies focus on a range of activities:
- Paths in the Park: A network of community paths, important routes, bridleways and cycle routes will be maintained and created.
- Water's Edge: Being safe and responsible when out on the water. Harm to the environment from these activities must be reduced.
- Enjoying the Outdoors: Safe and responsible enjoyment of the Park is important. Access rights and knowledge of byelaws must be highlighted, if the Park is to have a sustainable future.
- Participate in the Park: The Park’s future depends on people understanding why it is special. We will support people to participate in Park activities. We will teach them about its unique qualities. We will help people understand how this can benefit their health and wellbeing.
