Volunteer Opportunities & Application Pack

By applying to become a National Park Volunteer you get a chance to be part of a committed team of over 100 volunteers whilst enjoying and contributing to the natural beauty of an area right on your doorstep. Volunteers are involved in a variety of ways in the work of the National Park Authority and we are constantly looking to expand the opportunities that we offer to volunteers.

There are a number of Volunteer Roles for you to get involved in and the current ones are listed here. Find out more by clicking on the links below. As we develop new opportunities they will be shown here so come back and check again in the future!

Application Pack

If you would like to get involved with volunteering in the National Park, download the application pack here:

Don't Delay... Get Started!

Complete the Application form and Declaration forms giving as much detail as possible about why you want to volunteer and the skills you have to bring. Then post to the address provided. Look at the Volunteer Role you are applying to for information on what happens after you have applied.

Placements & Work Experience

During 2011 we are unable to provide any placement or work experience opportunities.  This is due to limited staff capacity, especially in the summer months. However, this will be reviewed this autumn and any updates will be given here.

Not an Individual Volunteer?

If your organisation or business would like to get involved, or you are enquiring on behalf of someone you support please get in touch to discuss volunteering opportunities.
