Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park covers over 720 square miles of Scotland’s finest countryside which welcomes over 4 million visitors each year. From the stunning sea lochs and rugged coastline through the majestic glens and breath-taking Loch & Ben Lomond, Scotland’s first National Park truly is a magical place.

  • Job Title: Environment Officer
  • Salary: £17,200 per annum, pro rata
  • Working Hours: 18 hours per week (worked Friday to Monday 4.5 hours per day example 08:00 – 12:30 13:30 – 18:00, however hours can be discussed with successful candidate as there is room for some flexibility)
  • Contract: 6 months fixed term contract
  • Location: Various locations, based at Duncan Mills Memorial Slipway, Balloch

Are you:

  • Passionate about litter and waste issues
  • Diplomatic and confident communicating with the public in difficult situations
  • A self-starter with a passion for the National Park
  • Reliable with problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills?


  • A sound understanding of health and safety responsibilities relating to waste management.
  • Experience in a similar role

We have an exciting opportunity for two individuals to join our Estates team to support our environmental management objectives ensuring our waste and litter management aims across the Park Authority are met and the Environmental Protection Act 1990 is enforced where required.
