Martin Earl was elected to Ward 3 (Callander) on 5th July 2018 for a period of four years to July 2022.
Previously Martin has been one of the two Stirling Council appointed Board members and was on the National Park board from 2012-2017. He was elected to Stirling Council in 2012 as a Councillor for Trossachs & Teith ward and re-elected in 2017.
Martin has served as Chair of Trossachs Community Council, a member of the Rural Stirling Housing Association’s management committee, the Active Stirling Board and was depute convener of the last Central Scotland Police Authority prior to the National Service being established. He is currently serving his second term as a Trustee of the Stirling Smith museum and has been re-appointed to the Active Stirling board in 2018.
Martin has lived in the National Park, just outside Callander, for nearly twenty years. Martin hopes his experience will help him be an effective board member working for a positive relationship between the Park Authority and the communities within the National Park.
Martin is Chair of the Delivery Group at the Park Authority.
