If you have limited access , there are a choice of options in the National Park to help you get around, ranging from wheelchairs to scooters and all terrain wheelchairs.
As part of the Parkmobility project, the “Scooter Station” in Balloch offers different types of scooters suitable for exploring Balloch Castle Country Park, shopping at Lomond Shores or meandering around the village. Manual wheelchairs and rollators are also available.
Balloch Castle Country Park is an ideal place to explore by scooter with a range of routes taking in the castle, walled garden and shore path with stunning views of the loch.

Trossachs Mobility in Callander now has all-terrain wheelchairs which you can hire by the hour, by day, half day or purchase an annual membership – whichever you prefer! Fantastic guided tours can also be arranged for you, including some extra help and support (if needed).
These are fantastic electric wheelchairs that are changing the face of accessible tourism, giving users the ability to tackle off-road and challenging terrain. They can also go at whichever speed you choose, so you don’t have to be going too fast either.
