Issues Report
The Local Plan Issues Report was published for consultation (31 March – 12 May 2008) as part of the preparation of our new National Park Local Plan. It highlights the key issues that the Local Plan needs to address and invited your views.
The Draft Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report was published for consultation alongside the Local Plan Issues Report (31 March – 12 May 2008). It includes an assessment of the positive and negative effects of the options in the Issues Report and an assessment of the alternatives.

Report on Consultation
We prepared a Report on Consultation which details the responses received to the Local Plan Issues Report and the Draft SEA Environmental Report consultation. It comprises of two documents:
- Summary Report on Consultation (pdf 222Kb) provides background information and a summary of the general comments received on the different sections of the Issues Report and Draft SEA Environmental Report, and
- Report on Consultation (pdf 518Kb) is a detailed report that shows all the comments received.
The comments received from this consultation were used to help inform the preparation of the Draft Local Plan. For more information on the preparation of the Local Plan and how you can be involved in each stage of the process, please refer to the Development Plan Scheme.
