opportunities in Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. There
are a wide variety of courses - for everyone from beginners to those who
like more of a challenge - but all guarantee quality golf and spectacular
scenery.
Perhaps the most well known of these courses is at the Loch Lomond Golf Club, host to the Scottish Open since 1996. The course is situated in 660 acres of the Clan Colquhoun Estate and is surrounded by magnificent mountains and the sparkling loch. This challenging course in spectacular scenery provides a rich golfing experience for players and spectators alike.
The Trossachs and Breadalbane regions of the National Park are also widely recognised for great golf, thanks to the courses at Callander, Aberfoyle, St Fillans and Killin. With its stunning backdrop of hills and forest, the ninth hole at Killin is said to be one of the most beautiful in Scotland, while at Aberfoyle the course is overlooked by the majesty of Ben Lomond.
