As part of Callander’s Landscape, the Forth Rivers Trust is running a free weekend activity session for young people, to learn how to fish.
This activity is open to young people aged 16 – 26.
Come and learn the basics of fly fishing, what’s in your local river, safe bank side practice, equipment and tackle setup and water craft to identify good fishing spots.
You will also have a brief look at fly life and how that helps to decide what technique to fish.
You will then put your newly acquired skills into practice with a day’s fly fishing.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. For more information or to receive a booking form please email the Forth Rivers Trust at email@example.com or call 0131 445 1527.
