Hosting your meeting or event here at Carrochan, the National Park headquarters in Balloch, will not only deliver all that you require from a modern, fit for purpose and well managed building, but also the knowledge that your decision is positively contributing to the Park.

Carrochan has exceptional environmental credentials and by using this building, you will be doing your bit towards caring for the planet and your National Park.

Carrochan provides inspiring spaces with light-flooded rooms that leave an impression, will nurture ideas and creative thinking, always with a warm welcome and professional service. It is the ideal venue for corporate events, business meetings, seminars, training days, team building and more.

Balloch is in easy reach of most Scottish cities. Glasgow is 30 minutes away by car and 50 minutes by direct train. Stirling is only a 45 minute drive.

Rooms & Suites

Carrochan’s two suites and one meeting room provide the perfect spaces for your training, event or meeting needs, for up to 120 delegates.

Situated on Carrochan’s first floor (which is accessible by lift), our suites can be configured to suit your requirements. Both suites have access to a reception/breakout/vestibule area, perfect for coffee breaks and lunch.

Both suites have all the facilities you need: audio-visual equipment, video conferencing, desktop, handheld and clip-on microphones, complimentary WIFI, podiums, flip charts, IT support and even DVD and VHS players if needed.

An additional meeting room is available on the ground floor.

Breadalbane Room – up to 10 delegates

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT.

Catering with local produce

If your event requires catering, the National Park has teamed up with fantastic local caterers to provide your guests with high quality fresh local food and drink, prepared and presented to the highest standards. Prices start at just £4 per person. Please call us to discuss your requirements.

More than just a meeting

By hosting your event on the National Park’s doorstep, why not consider incorporating the outdoors with the indoors?  There are a wide number of outdoor activities that could be added to your event, to challenge, to inspire, to entertain your delegates. We can put together bespoke packages (subject to availability) that will combine your meeting room hire with team building activities. Please just ask.
