Job Title: Power Apps Developer (SharePoint)
Salary: £35,122 – £42,092 (Band D) per annum
Working Hours: 35 hours per week – we are happy to talk part-time and flexible working
Contract: Permanent
Location: Balloch, with hybrid working model in place

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Apps Developer to join our small, dedicated team providing ICT support services for Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast paced and high performing organisation at a truly exciting time for the Information Services team as we expand our use of Microsoft 365, look towards full Cloud adoption and being planning on our new Digital Strategy.

An experienced professional, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining solutions in Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, working within the business to lead on and continue developing and migrating existing service requirements to help our transition to predominantly cloud based services.

As someone who has a background in coding with Java, HTML and/or C# you will be able to demonstrate how this can help us improve processes and services, both for the organisation and its customers and further develop efficient, streamlined ways of working.


  • Creating (predominantly) SharePoint solutions to automate various processes across the business.
  • Working within a small team providing organisation IT support and development.
  • Reading and creating custom code using JavaScript, HTML and/or C#.
  • Support the development & implementation of new technologies by advising on design concepts & changes, implementation strategies & deployment timelines.
  • Contribute with modern thinking regarding Infrastructure technologies to assist in the digitalization of the business.
  • Contribute to developing and supporting awareness initiatives, including training and the production of user guides, to promote more effective, efficient, and sustainable use of the organisation’s Information Services resources.
  • Document technical procedures and routines and assist in the production and publication of all Information Services service standards and make recommendations for policy or action.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as required.

Who we are looking for:

Your skills, abilities and experience should include:

  • Demonstrable relevant experience of working in a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience of SharePoint Online solutions, and integration with other M365 and Azure services
  • Demonstrable experience of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI and/or Power Automate)
  • Experience of developing and supporting M365 Power Platform services, such as Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Demonstrable technical ability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • The ability to adapt and to learn new skills and technologies
  • A recognised computing or other relevant qualification (such as Data Analytics) at Degree level, or equivalent relevant experience

Ideally, but not essential, you’ll also have:

  • Experience of being able to assist with day-to-day problem solving of user, hardware and software issues.
  • Good working knowledge of other M365 Services
  • Able to read and create custom code using JavaScript, HTML or C#
  • Experience of being able to assist with day-to-day problem solving of user, hardware and software issues.
  • Experiencing of working in IT infrastructure (hardware, networking and security)
