Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park covers over 720 square miles of Scotland’s finest countryside which welcomes over 4 million visitors each year. From the stunning sea lochs and rugged coastline through the majestic glens and breathtaking Loch & Ben Lomond, Scotland’s first National Park truly is a magical place.

About the role

It won’t come as a surprise that our seasonal jobs are during our busy summer months. There are a variety of positions available, but each one will play a part in delivering our key message “leave no trace”. Our seasonal jobs are available from April until September (maximum contract length is 27 weeks).

We are looking for individuals who have excellent people skills, are enthusiastic about the outdoors and passionate about the countryside to join our team of Seasonal Rangers.

All posts are primarily visitor management focused and support our work managing visitor related pressures and ensuring all visitors to the National Park have a fantastic experience. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication interpersonal skills
  • A positive and flexible attitude.
  • Experience of visitor management or work in a customer focused role.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the environment and countryside issues

Salary: From £17,993 per annum (Pending a pay award) (based on a 37 hr week)

Working Hours: A variety of contracts from 0 hours up to 35 hours a week, working mainly weekends (some contracts are working every weekend) and a mixture of normal and late shifts

Location: Various start locations, Balloch, Balmaha, Callander, Lochearnhead, Loch Chon and Loch Achray campsites.
