  • Job Title:  Tourism Adviser – Business
  • Salary: £30,522 – £36,742 (Band D)
  • Working Hours: 37 hrs per week Mon–Friday – We are happy to talk about flexible working.
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Balloch, G83 8EG

You will work closely with businesses within the National Park to identify new products and services to help enhance the visitor experience and benefit the local economy. Working closely with partner agencies to implement the National Park Partnership Plan (NPPP), you will use your ability to analyse and interpret information, assess options and make decisions which will help us move towards commercial and environmental sustainability. Project management, budget and market research work is involved, so excellent analytical, numeracy, communication and organisational skills are essential.

Degree qualified or equivalent in a related discipline, you’ll have a proven track record in achieving excellence in project and contract management. As someone who has experience in developing partner relationships, you will understand how to approach, advise and influence individuals and senior staff. You will be confident, credible and proactive when driving quality improvement and good practice and will instil confidence and trust for colleagues in your professional advice.
