Tuesday 28th May 2019, 10:20am, Three Villages Halls, Arrochar (launch date, followed thereafter by weekly group walks every Tuesday morning at 10.20 outside the Three Villages Hall)
Join Trust in the Park for a free, fun and easy way to get fit, feel better and discover the benefits of walking.
Walk in the Park’s weekly health walk programme in Arrochar & Tarbet will provide you with the opportunity to explore the beautiful and nurturing surroundings of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, become physically active, and improve your health and sense of well-being.
Walking routes are all on good walking surfaces, lasting between 45 – 60 minutes and are led by trained Volunteer Walk Leaders who provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable walking experience. Walking is done at your own pace and ability.
What our walkers say about Walk in the Park:
‘Walk Leaders give me the confidence to extend the length of my walks and take me on routes I would not normally do on my own’
‘We can share experiences with the rest of the group. There is a lot of laughter so the social side is so important to motivate regular participants and new members’
‘I have made many new friends and my walk is now the highlight of my week’
Walk in the Park are keen to welcome new people. There is no need to book, simply turn up and join in the fun – everyone is welcome! The walks are great way for you to meet new people; with the group enjoying a coffee and chat after each walk.
