Find an application or decision

Please note: Due to a scheduled upgrade, our Public Access site will have limited functionality between 16:00hrs on Friday 13th July and 16:00hrs on Thursday 19th July 2018.  You will be unable to submit comments or view documents and the site will be completely unavailable from 16:00hrs on Friday 13th July to 16:00hrs on Monday 16th July and for short periods thereafter. The deadlines for consultees and neighbour consultation responses have been extended to compensate for the period of lost time.

If you wish to comment on a planning application during this period, please email us directly at quoting the application reference number and your full name and address.

If you wish to view application documents during this period, please contact one of our Planning Assistants on 01389 722024 and if possible this will be arranged.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can search for planning and listed building applications, appeals and enforcement notices using our planning search. You search by reference number, application/appeal type, property address and map.

You can also view our ‘weekly lists’ for a weekly update on all new planning applications received and decisions made. The weekly planning list contains details of received applications, decided applications (committee and delegated), decided appeals, enforcement matters, and other Tree and Access issues.

The List of Extant Applications contains details of all applications that are pending consideration received on or after 3 August 2009. It also includes details of any current Pre-Applications Consultations with the public for Major Applications.

Points to note:

  1. You can view selected documents from applications received by the Park Authority from 1 January 2009.
  2. To view any other documents, including all those received prior to January 2009, please contact our Planning Information Manager on 01389 722024 or
  3. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader software to be able to view documents. This software is available free from the Adobe website.
  4. You can still visit the National Park Headquarters in Balloch to view documents associated with planning applications.
