Toilets in the National Park

There are several toilets and comfort schemes in the National Park, however if you are heading out somewhere more remote you might want to ‘go’ before you go.

National Park facilities –

Winter hours are in operation from 1st November 2022 until 31th March 2023.

Inveruglas (free, incl. disabled toilet)

  • 7 days; Main block 8am to 8pm, Outside Block – Open 24 hours

Firkin Point (free, incl. disabled toilet)

  • 9am to 8pm, all abilities toilets are open 24 hours

Tarbet (free, incl. disabled toilet)

  • 7 days; Main block 8am to 8pm, Accessible toilets – Open 24 hours

Luss (50p charge)

  • 7 days; 8am to 8pm

Balmaha Visitor Centre (50p charge)

  • Saturday & Sunday; 9.30am to 4.30pm

Milarrochy Bay  (free, incl. disabled toilet)

  • 8.30am to 8pm, all abilities toilets are open

Toilets at Milarrochy Bay will be closured from the Monday 5th June to Thursday 8th June for vital maintenance. 

Cashel  (free, accessible toilets)

  • Open 10am – 5pm from April 1st – October 31st

Ben Lomond car park in Rowardennan (free, incl. disabled access)

  • 7 days; 8am to 8pm

    • Closed from 31st October to March 2022

Comfort Schemes

Comfort schemes mean that toilets in local businesses or buildings are available for public use at no cost, regardless of whether or not they are a customer.

  • The Cabin at Loch Lubnaig (parking fee, campsite gates close at 6.30pm)
  • Callander Library
    • 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 5pm (Monday and Friday)
    • 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 7pm (Tuesday and Thursday)
    • 10am – 12pm (Saturday)
    • closed on Wednesday and Sunday
  • Loch Katrine Trossachs Pier
  • Arrochar Three Villages Cafe
    • closed on Monday
