Statement on West Riverside Planning Application Process

A spokesperson for Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority said: “At our Board meeting on Monday 17 June, members agreed the overall process that will be followed for the determination of the West Riverside and Woodbank House planning application in principle.

“As outlined in a report to the Board members, it was agreed that the application will be determined by the full Board following a site visit and hearing.

“No date or dates have been set for this yet but it is envisaged that the planning officer’s report of recommendation on the application will be completed by late summer. Once dates have been confirmed it will be widely publicised and everyone who has submitted a representation to the application will be informed.

“During the meeting, Board members did not discuss the merits of the case or make any decision about the application.”
