Search for planning applications
You can find planning applications in 2 ways:
- Search for a planning application to find and view application details and documents.
- View weekly lists and planning recent activity
View and search planning applications
Our planning application search lets you find and view detailed information about applications, including documents and plans. You can search in several ways, depending on the information you have. You can search by
- map location
- reference number
- property address
- keyword
What you can find
The planning application search includes a range of planning-related information. You can view:
- planning applications and related application types
- appeals and local reviews
- enforcement notices and tree preservation orders
Most documents are available for applications received from 1 January 2009 onwards. If you need older documents, or something that is not available online, email the planning support team at planning@lochlomond-trossachs.org
If you cannot access documents online
You can also view application documents in person at the National Park headquarters in Balloch.
Comment on an application
You can comment on an application while the consultation period is open. When you submit a comment, we will notify you:
- when a decision is made
- if the application goes to the planning committee
- if the decision is appealed
Your comments will be publicly visible. However:
- we will not publish your name or address
- comments may take up to 5 working days to appear
- we will not publish comments that are offensive, defamatory or libellous
Get updates on planning activity
You can stay up to date with planning activity through our published lists. Weekly lists include:
- new applications (once validated)
- decisions made
- appeal decisions
- enforcement, tree and access matters
We also publish an Extant list which shows applications that are still being considered. It includes undetermined applications and all live Proposal of Application Notices (PANs).
