Gerry McGarvey

Gerry McGarvey was appointed to the Board on 1 October 2022 following his nomination by Stirling Council.

Gerry has worked throughout the UK, US, Africa and Ireland in Community Development. As a trained counsellor with over 30 years’ experience in Personal Development, Gerry has used these skills and a number of other therapeutic interventions as a practitioner with young people and also as part of the Learning and Development team for a national children’s charity based in Stirling.

Gerry was elected Depute Chair of Futures Group in December 2022.
