Construction work is underway to install the new Bracklinn Bridge in Callander, with contractors on site from 9th January to begin erecting the bridge.
The work is due to last until early March 2023 and there will be no access to Bracklinn Falls until it is complete.
The new bridge is built to last using a simple and robust steel structure that fits well with the landscape at the Falls. It will provide a safe place to view the spectacular Bracklinn Falls and will allow walkers to complete the full Bracklinn Circuit route once again.
In the meantime, suggestions for alternative walks in the Callander area and elsewhere in the National Park can be found in the ‘things to do’ section of the National Park Authority’s website.
