Willie Nisbet (Depute Convener)

Willie Nisbet was re-elected to Ward 4 (East Loch Lomond and Port of Menteith) on on 5th July 2018 for a further period of four years to July 2022.

Willie is Depute Convener at the Park Authority. He has farmed on the banks of Loch Lomond for the last 30 years, and has worked to bring together the competing demands of farming, the environment and public access.

He is a Director of RHET (Royal Highland Education Trust) and a past Chair of Central Scotland’s branch of FWAG (Farming Wildlife Advisory Group). He has also been treasurer of Kilmaronock Community Trust and Chair of the Community Paths Group.
