The Strathfillan Rural Housing Delivery work was commissioned by the National Park Authority in response to housing pressures raised by local communities and businesses. It explores how to progress stalled housing opportunities and identifies practical short-, medium- and long-term solutions, including funding and delivery options, that could also inform approaches elsewhere in the National Park.
Following preparation of the report, we returned to communities to discuss its findings and the suggested housing opportunities. The sites identified currently have no formal planning status and are now subject to further engagement through the Call for Sites, Land and Ideas (CLSI) process. This engagement will inform their assessment and consideration for inclusion in the new Local Development and Land Use Plan.
