Met Office Red Weather Warning – very strong winds, causing dangerous conditions and significant disruption across Central Scotland, including large areas of the National Park on 24/01, 10am – 5pm. As such, all sites and services, including offices, visitor centres, slipways and public toilets managed by the National Park Authority will be closed.

We strongly advise against any attempts to travel to, or within the National Park during this time.

Walk in the Park

Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10.20am, multiple locations.

Trust in the Park health walks take place in the beautiful and nurturing surroundings of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

They are one of the best examples of a successful health walk programme in Scotland.  Starting from just seven walkers in Callander, they now support over one hundred walkers!

Join them for a free, fun and easy way to get fit and feel better. Choose from:

  • Monday: Aberfoyle, meet at Car Park (behind the Scottish Wool Centre) @ 10:20am
  • Tuesday: Callander, meet at Ancaster Square (outside St. Kessog’s Church) @10:20am
  • Tuesday: Arrochar, meet at Three Villages Hall @10:20am
  • Wednesday: Balloch, meet at Grass area behind Balloch Tourist Info Centre @10:20am
  • Wednesday: Killin, meet at McLaren Hall car park @10:20am
  • Thursday: Drymen & Croftamie, meet at Village Square (Winnock Hotel) @10:20am
