Help shape how land is used and developed in the National Park by taking part in our Call for Land, Sites and Ideas.
We are preparing a new plan that will guide where development happens and how land is used in the National Park from 2028 onwards. At this early stage, we are inviting people to put forward land, sites and ideas to help inform that plan. This could include ideas for development, land management, nature restoration, climate action, or other ways land could be used or protected. This is an early opportunity to help shape the plan. No decisions are being made at this stage – we’re listening and gathering ideas and suggestions. What is this?
This call is open to anyone with an interest in the National Park, including: You do not need to be a planning expert. Your idea does not need to be fully worked up or costed. Is this for me?
You can use this opportunity to submit: You can submit one or more of these. What can I submit?
Submitting land, a site or an idea does not mean it will automatically be taken forward or approved. All responses will be included in a Site Assessment process. There will be further public consultation before any final decisions are made when we publish the Proposed Plan in 2027. What this doesn’t mean?
Once the submission period closes: What happens after I submit?
The Call for Land, Sites and Ideas is open for 12 weeks from the 29th January to the 23rd April 2026. All submissions must be received by the 23rd April 2026. When can I take part?
You can submit your proposals using our online form. If you are not able to complete the online form, we can help you take part in another way, please contact us at LocalDevPlan2@lochlomond-trossachs.org How to submit
