Any personal data submitted to us through this consultation will be processed by the National Park Authority in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, in line with our privacy policy. Some of the data collected through this survey will also be processed by our external consultants for this project, Kevin Murray Associates (KMA).
KMA has been commissioned to help analyse consultation responses on behalf of the National Park Authority, to provide an independent recommendations report that will inform work to finalise proposed revisions to the Camping Management Byelaws which will be presented to Scottish ministers.
Prior to being processed by KMA, your response will be entered into our online systems and your name and email address will be removed. Your name and email addresses will be retained by the National Park Authority solely for the purpose of contacting you about your consultation response if necessary. Data including your location (first half of your postcode), the name of any organisation you are representing and other answers to this consultation questionnaire will be made available to KMA for the purpose of their analysis.
Following the consultation, all responses will be anonymised (all personal details removed), collated and published online.
All respondents should be aware that the National Park Authority is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, we therefore must consider releasing information about responses made to this consultation exercise on request.
Your data will be used by the National Park Authority and KMA only for the purposes of this consultation and will be destroyed when the revised Camping Management Byelaws have been implemented.
