Visitor facilities: Car parks and toilets

July 26, 2020

In light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, many facilities have been closed to the public. These began opening in stages from Friday 3rd July in line with Scottish Government guidance. However this means putting in place the right measures to keep visitors, staff and communities safe so not everything will be ‘business as usual’ and not everything will open at once. Please visit our advice for visitors page for the latest updates.

The map below highlights key visitor destinations across the National Park and the facilities at each site.

The table below shows which facilities are available at each visitor location and the current status of car parks across the National Park. If you spot an error or something you think should be added drop us an email.

Car parks and toilets

We are trialling a system of providing regular updates over peak times at the weekend to give an indication of how busy (or not) car parks across the National Park are.

These updates are being provided by staff and volunteers throughout the day, which means they aren’t necessarily ‘live’ but we hope that they provide people considering a trip to the National Park with additional information to help inform where they go. Each time we update the status of a car park, we’ll provide the time that this was last updated.

**These updates will be initially be provided between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.**

Between these times, the table below will be updated using a colour-coded system to give an indication of how busy, or not, key visitor car parks are looking.
