In 2026 the term of a number our Board members will end. In January, Scottish Government’s Public Appointments team sought to recruit five Ministerially-appointed roles on the National Park Authority Board. Applications for the five roles have now closed and news on the newly appointment Board members will be made in due course.
In July this year, there will also be elections held across five local wards in the National Park for five locally-elected Board members. Additional information and guidance will be published on the local elections later this year, in the meantime, you can learn more about the role and remit of the National Park Authority Board here, or by viewing the videos below for insights from current Board members.
